Skills : The various things to invest skill points into. You also gain SP from specific Client Orders. Skill Points (SP) : For each level you gain in a given class, you get a Skill Point as a reward to invest in that class’ skill tree. You can switch between up to six subpalette setups. Subpalette : A set of 10 slots in which you can put items, Techs and skills to use on a whim. Weapon Palette : A set of up to six slots in which you set up weapons and their PAs/Techs. Filling it has different criteria depending on the weapon. Gear : A weapon feature represented by a gauge atop the weapon palette. They differ based on the weapon and are best detailed alongside them and the classes. Weapon Action : A unique ability that a weapon type holds. If you strike again with any attack then, it “chains” and hits 30% harder a sound effect plays, as well as a visual glow, to show you’ve succeeded. As you attack, a grey circle appear around your character, and eventually turns orange-ish. Just Attack (JA) : A properly timed attack. Tech-based weapons can all be assigned techniques, which can be shared between them you can even use Techniques without a weapon, provided your class allows it. Unlike PAs, Techniques are not bound to a specific weapon. Technique (Tech) : The setting’s spells. PAs are specific to their weapon, and each weapon has a number of different PAs it can have assigned. Whatever you want to call it, it’s fancy moves that use PP. Normal attacks refill it even quicker, so it’s important to mix those in with stronger moves. Photons : Nanomachines, son! The key power of the setting, everything runs on and uses it. Arks Cash (AC) : A premium currency, you must pay real money to obtain it and its benefits. Star Gems (SG) : They are a semi-premium currency awarded to you for performing special tasks, but can also be obtained by using the third currency… Meseta, or “gold” : Your average monetary unit you find on missions, receive as a reward from NPCs, etc. If that’s not done yet, follow this guide : This guide also assumes you’ve got the game installed and have acquired a Sega ID and password.
